About Teresa

I am a graduate of Appalachian State University with a bachelors degree in Child Development (infant/toddler&preschool/kindergarten focus). I have experience with children ages 2 months to 13 years old. Over the past 8 years, I have been a nanny, worked in a variety of childcare settings (including Montessori and Reggio Emilia), taught homeschooling and have been a program assistant at a children's museum. I have over 10 years of experience with caring for children in various settings. My philosophy is based on engaging free-play where children can learn through hands on experiences. I am extremely flexible and willing to work around schedules. I am also available for care needed while traveling. I am a gardener and animal lover - farm included, I enjoy spending time outside, reading and engaging in various art forms. Please feel free to send me any further questions if you have them.
