About Teresa

My name is Teresa. I'm from Jalisco, Mexico, and I now live in Long Beach, CA. I'm bilingual in Spanish and English and prefer working with Spanish-speaking families. For 4 years, I was the sole caregiver for my son after he was paralyzed from the neck down following a workplace accident. I provided 24/7 care - dressing, feeding, bathing, and safely transferring him between his wheelchair, bed, and shower. That experience taught me that great caregiving takes patience, empathy, and genuine love. I also cook, clean, and keep the home organized. I'm available for live-in positions (preferred) or hourly work. I would be honored to care for your loved one.
