About Teresa

Making a positive impact on the lives of seniors is my passion. In 2016, I became a primary caretaker for my grandfather, helping my parents to honor his wish to remain at home. We lost him in 2023, and it reinforced my appreciation for seniors' stories and perspectives. With over 10 years of experience in the medical field, I offer respite care, transportation, medical management, meal preparation, and experience in dementia and hospice situations. I am patient, compassionate, reliable, and understanding. I adapt to changing routines, de-escalate stressful situations, and handle confusion with care. I understand the anxiety of entrusting a loved one's care to someone new, so I prioritize open communication. Building trust, creating a comfortable environment, and respecting independence are incredibly important to me.
