About Teresa

Hi! I'm Teresa and I am a third grade teacher for Anne Arundel County Public Schools. I love teaching my class, as well as tutoring students one-on-one. This allows me to give my full attention, and better attend to academic and emotional needs. I also love getting to know my students, and using their interests as part of my teaching! I have worked with kids for many years, having started as a camp counselor, kids swim instructor, nanny and private tutor before moving into full-time teaching in schools. I taught students as a para educator, substitute teacher, and full-time teacher. I taught third grade for two years in-person, and fourth grade for two years virtually as part of Baltimore County's Virtual Learning Program. I have now been working in Anne Arundel County Public Schools for two years. I bring these skills to the table as a tutor, and I can't wait to work with your child and help them succeed academically!
