About Teresa

I am a Montessori teacher by trade, but I am interested in getting my Montessori training for Aging and Dementia. I am happy to try and offer my Montessori experience in a new way, but this would be a new experience for me. I have taken care of my elderly great Aunt who had a stroke and my grandmother before they died. I also care for my elderly parents right now, but my professional experience is limited. I love to embroider and knit, so I'm good with crafts. I minored in music, so I love music, especially vintage music like Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington, etc. I'm also very conscious of nutrition and study it quite a bit in my spare time, so I can help plan meals. Dementia and Alzheimer's patients have shown great benefits from a ketogenic diet, which I have extensive experience using. I reversed my dad's severe type 2 diabetes (5 shots a day for 15 years) with ketogenic meal planning - that got him off all his medications at 75 years old.
