I have 22 years of experience in a professional long-term care facility and seven plus years of experience in the home care setting. I've taken care of a diverse group of people from fully functioning to completely dependent. I am a certified nursing assistant and have worked extensively with physical and occupational therapy along with dementia care. With all of this experience also comes knowledge of proper transfer techniques, activities of daily living (bathing, feeding, and proper hygiene), and experience with wheelchairs, and walking devices.
