About Teresa

I am a senior at ISU majoring in with a double major in FCS Education and Psychology. I have a background in elementary education and have spent the past 3 years working as a TA for a religious education program. My experience with children includes working as a RBT where I support children with different learning and developmental needs. I have developed strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills while learning how to create positive and engaging environments for children. I enjoy spending time with kids through activities like playing outside, doing crafts, helping with homework, reading, and ways to make learning fun. I am CPR and First Aid certified and strive to be a dependable, caring, and energetic role model that both children and parents can trust. I value creating a safe, supportive, and enjoyable environment where each individual child can feel comfortable being themselves while parents feel confident knowing their children are in good hands.
