About Tera

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With three years of experience as a Certified teacher, I specialize in Math, English, and Special Education for elementary and middle school students. I believe every learner possesses unique strengths, and I focus on building confidence through critical thinking rather than simple memorization. By observing how you interact with new material, I tailor my approach using visual aids, discussions, and hands-on activities. When concepts become difficult, I break them into manageable steps and connect lessons to your personal interests to keep you motivated. Clear communication with you and your family remains my priority to ensure we meet your goals together. Nothing compares to the joy of witnessing that "aha!" moment when a complex idea finally clicks. I look forward to helping you succeed, one step at a time.
