I am a reading and math specialist. I taught Kindergarten and 5th grade in Central FL. I can teach your child how to read and write in 4 months with a money back guarantee with 6-7 hours per week of services. My in person rate starts at $55 per hour. Virtual is $40 p/h and small group $30 per hour.

Mrs. B has really set the tone for any person to work with my daughter going forward. She worked with my daughter the summer before 1st grade and the first half of 1st grade, and it has made such a BIG difference. My daughter has been reading below grade level since Kindergarten; however, after working with Mrs. B, she is reading on grade level and even reading words and books that are above grade level now.

Mrs B. taught my son over the summer. He had barely passed to 2nd grade and I was very concerned. Mrs B. met with him for 6 hours each week. She taught him how to read more fluently and developed a solid math foundation including multiplication and pre algebraic concepts. He is now one of the brightest students in his class. I am beyond appreciative of Mrs B’s commitment, flexibility, firmness, nurturance and skill set. She knows how to bond with her students and help them understand that they are exemplary.

First of let me tell you picking Tekisha was the absolute best decision I could've ever made! She is very good with kids, I mean all kids are different and she is very skillful dealing with each child differently, yet effectively, and lovingly! She really is more then a tutor, she's more like a family member at this point. The way she prioritizes her children, is unmatched. She is the one for you not the two.

Tekisha was absolutely amazing with our children. When she came on board, she took the time out to hear our concerns regarding where our kids were/are academically, and where we would like for them to be. As she started to work with them, there were some challenges; but the fact that she guaranteed she could get them further academically, and did speaks volumes. Mrs. Tekisha has been wonderful in helping our daughter achieve the understanding she needs in school. She is firm but makes learning fun for my daughter. It has been a wonderful experience.

My daughter is really reserved and shy child. She had been struggling off and on this year due to family dynamic changes, and recent moves. My son was struggling in first grade and ended up being withheld a year and this past year he fell behind in his second year of first grade. He was having a hard time reading and writing and was far behind his peers. Concerned with how the school was teaching him and that they weren't giving him the correct attention needed, because he is a super bright kid, his mother and I decided to look for a tutor. If you are looking for someone to help take your kids to the next level, then Mrs. B is the best!  We hired her to help with our boys (6 &9) as they were doing online school due to COVID and we were working full-time jobs from home.  The improvement she was able to accomplish with the boys was nothing less than amazing.  She expected nothing but the best from the boys and this is what they gave her.  The boys would even tell us, "Mrs. B won't except that" and they would erase it and redo it.  She is encouraging and has a special way of connecting with kids.  She is patient, yet disciplined at the same time.  She was a pleasure to have as part of our daily routine for 4 months.  Unfortunately, we are heading back to IN, but wish we could take her with us.
