About Tegra

As a caregiver, My journey began at home as the second oldest of six siblings, where I gained years of hands-on experience helping to raise and care for my younger brothers and sisters. This foundation led me to tutoring and mentoring with rising a village, as well as serving as a youth group leader, where I organized activities that were both fun and meaningful. Patience and responsibility guide my approach, while creativity keeps kids engaged. I am a sophomore business at American University CPR/First Aid trained, and bilingual in English and Swahili. I enjoy helping with homework, preparing simple and healthy meals, and keeping kids active through games, outdoor play, and learning activities. I also prioritize clear communication with parents, ensuring I adapt to their preferred routines and caregiving style. I am excited about the opportunity to bring my energy, dependability, and care to your family.
