About Teanna

Teanna was a caregiver for my sister who uses a wheelchair and can't use her hands. Even though my sister has always had caregivers, she would call me daily, needing me to take out her garbage, fix her a plate of food, reposition her in beds,or comb her hair. It was always something. Our 104 year old mother lives with me and between my mother and my sister it was a hand full until Teanna became my sister's caregiver. The daily calls for help from my sister stopped. Sometimes three days would pass by before she would call and then she would just ask how we were doing. So I decided to go visit my sister. She was like a different person-- much happier and she never asked me to do anything for her. I checked her garbage, checked to see if meals were in the refrigerator, checked her dirty clothes basket, I even asked my sister if she needed me to do anything for her. She gave me a big smile and said," No.". Then I realized Teanna was doing an excellent job taking care of my sister which allowed me to spend more time with our mother and not worry about my sister. Teanna made a huge difference in our family. I thank God for sending her as my sister's caregiver. I pray that more patients are blessed to have a caregiver like Teanna who cares and takes time to meet their patients' wants and needs. She will truly be missed by my family.
