About Teagan

I'd describe my personality as creative, compassionate, and patient. I like working with kids because it's rewarding to watch them grow into curious and confident individuals. I'm looking for a job with a family that values trust and communication. Flexibility for my coursework and a chance to build a strong relationship with the family are equally as important to me as well. I started working with kids when I was a kid myself. I have a large family with 8 nieces and nephews, and have taken care of them since I was 4. I began my ECE career in high school by volunteering and apprenticeships. I have worked as a preschool teaching assistant for 2 years and have experience with ages 1-5. In my spare time I like to hike, read, and paint. I also am a part-time college student (online coursework) so lots of my spare time is spent doing school work. One thing you should know about me is that I'm very patient and calm, which I believe is really important when caring for young children.
