I have been working with children for the last 13 years. I own and operate my own registered child care business in Bennington, VT. I have 2 children (26 & 18) and am sending off my youngest to college, to be an athletic trainer. I have been extremely fortunate to have worked with some of the best families. A very large amount of the kids that I have worked with have been with me since infancy and are now 11 years old. In some instances, I have been fortunate to work with all the kids within these families. I had one tell me that she has been with me for a decade. I have some great references should you need them. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I have approximately 15+ hours of professional development annually. I have Medication training. I am a State Mandated reporter. I am a non smoker. I believe in redirecting as much as possible. I love to keep kids busy and enjoy spending as much time outdoors as possible.

We had a wonderful experience with Ruby/Amelia. She is a kind, calm professional caregiver, and I felt confident that my children were in great hands with her. She has extensive experience with children, including babies, and communicating with Ruby was also very easy, which helped us organize childcare without stress. We were traveling from abroad to the area, and Ruby even offered to do a FaceTime in advance of the babysitting appointment so that my daughter could get to know her and feel the most comfortable. This was a really thoughtful suggestion from Ruby, and I believe it made the experience much easier for our daughter. She brought great activities along and made the time fun for our kids. So thankful for the great care! We’d be very glad to work with Ruby again. ❤️
