About Taylor

I started babysitting in high school and watched children ranging from under a year to 5 years old. In my senior year of high school, I began tutoring at the pre-school in the special education classroom and joined a mentoring program at the elementary school. As part of the mentoring program, I had two children - 5 years old and 11 years old. I would meet with each of them separately at least twice a week. Sometimes we had fun activities to do, other times we would work on schoolwork they needed help with or social/emotional work. After high school, I began working at a daycare and worked there for 2 1/2 years. I mainly worked with the Pre-k but spent a lot of time with the 3/4s and with the school-age class ranging from K-5th. I graduated with a Bachelor's in Social Work in 2023 and worked in Foster Care for over a year with children from 4 months to 16 years. For the last two years I have been working with preschool aged kids both in a Montessori setting and a public preschool.
