I currently provide caretaking support for a young man with high-functioning autism every other Sunday. Through this experience, I've learned how important patience, consistency, communication, and creating a comfortable environment are. I help with daily support, social interaction, and making activities enjoyable while also encouraging independence. This experience has strengthened my ability to connect with individuals with different needs and adapt to situations calmly and compassionately. I truly enjoy building trusting relationships with both the individual and their family, and I'm passionate about providing dependable, supportive care.
