About Taylor

I'm 19 years old and finishing my freshman year at WMU, where I'm studying elementary education. Last summer, I babysat for a neighbor's family with three kids (ages 10 - 14). I spent a lot of time playing with the youngest child, helped with light cleaning and cooking, and cared for their pets when the family was away. I also provided transportation for the older kids to their activities. In high school, I participated in the Ed Careers program, where I interned in a 4th grade classroom. That experience reinforced my dream of becoming a teacher. Beyond childcare, I've also worked in the dining center at my university and at Tropical Smoothie. This summer, I'm eager to return to working with children because it's what I truly love. I am interested in child development and a big believer in the power of play! I'd love the opportunity to work with younger children and help create a safe and fun summer for your family! I'll be home from school in early May through August.
