About Taylor

Hi I'm Taylor a graduate student currently getting my Masters in teaching. I'm on track to be endorsed in social studies and English language arts at the secondary level. I also hold a master's degree in Information Management and a bachelor's degree in Medical Anthropology and Global Health, both from the University of Washington. I tutor in four areas: essay writing, reading comprehension, history, and AP/IB exam prep. I currently work as a substitute teacher and am used to meeting students where they are. I've also been a nanny since 2023. As a former collegiate track and cross country athlete, I know how to balance school with everything else, so I like to share study habits and time management strategies that really work. I tailor each session to how the student learns best. I'm patient, organized and happy to work with a range of ability levels. Please reach out to talk about your student's goals and needs!
