About Tawny

Hello! My name is Tawny :) I recently relocated back to Salem after caring for my 92-year-old grandma with Dementia for 3 years. Prior to that I spent 5. 5 years with a family in Portland, OR nannying/caregiving for an adolescent boy with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. I have also cared for a 97-year-old lady and held space for her end of life transition. I have experience with administering medication, bathing, dressing, toileting, transfers (boards, gait belt, Hoyer lifts), physical therapy, interactive activities, companionship (having fun together!) and holding space for the various transitions of life. I have a background in yoga, yoga for seniors, breathwork, herbalism, and sound healing. Wellness is my speciality and passion. After 1 year with my grandma, through diet I helped her get off diabetic, cholesterol and high blood pressure medication and strengthened her memory significantly. Here to share vibrancy through smiles, laughter and delicious food.
