About Tawnie

I've worked as a tutor for over 10 years, serving elementary, teens, college students and beyond. As a teacher and homeschool parent, I have learned how to make learning fun and accessible for students from all backgrounds and learning styles. In the past I've primarily worked as a math tutor, but can also offer support with reading, dance, study skills, and help with building fine and gross motor skills. I prioritize building a relationship with students and finding what their ideal learning style is, so I can help make learning enjoyable, and build perseverance for when things feel challenging. I prioritize open communication with the whole family to ensure we remain aligned on your goals. I love getting to use my years of experience as a teacher and tutor to help people achieve their goals, and hope I can do the same for you!
