I have been working with children for over 20 years in a variety of child care settings (babysitting, child care, mother's helper, nanny, teacher, teacher's assistant, and Sunday school). Right I'm working towards finishing my degree in Early childhood Education/development. I used to study Mathematics as well. Because my daughter is very easy going, if a family is comfortable with the idea I like to bring her with me for extra socializing (this of course is not something I need or require to work for a family). I am used to watching 2-4 children at once, and I have supervised as many as 7 of various ages at once. Other things I currently do related to childcare is teach children's dance, as well as volunteer as a Sunday School teacher. I also have 1 year of experience as a Math tutor (college level), and an associate teacher (ECE) certificate.

Tawnie has seen our kids through infanthood to five-year-old-hood! She is the most amazing and kind caregiver we have ever had. She truly loved our kids like her own and they love her so much. She's incredibly attentive to their needs and is essentially a second parent, able to talk to them during difficult periods and ease their concerns. Our daughter was not a talker but she opened up to Tawnie and became incredibly talkative during her care. She loves going to the lake near our house and collecting treasures with Tawnie. Our son loves her cuddles and going to the park and learning how to draw snowmen/deer/hot chocolate mugs with funny faces. She has become such a wonderful part of our lives. I can not recommend her highly enough. She is also a teacher and has worked with our kids on skills like writing letters, numbers, and cutting with scissors. Lots of fine motor skill development for our young ones!
