About Tasha

Hi! I'm Tasha, a patient and encouraging English, reading, and history tutor with a bachelor's degree and a genuine love of reading and learning. I enjoy helping students work through challenging material, build confidence, and develop skills they can use independently. I'm interested in working with elementary, middle, and high school students in reading comprehension, English, writing, grammar, literary analysis, essays, history, homework, and study skills. My approach is supportive and low-pressure while still focusing on real progress. I like to connect lessons to students' interests and real-life experiences whenever possible, making challenging concepts more relatable and meaningful. Rather than simply providing answers, I help students understand the material and gain confidence tackling challenges on their own.
