About Tara

I'd describe my personality as open, kind, funny, and dedicated. I like tutoring because it allows me to help a student feel more confident and prepared in a subject. It allows me to connect with them on a personal level and gives them confidence and support that they need to succeed. I would like a job that allows me to work closely with a student in improving their study skills, ability to complete homework, and improve their confidence. In my spare time, I like to exercise, paint pet portraits, shop for vintage clothing, and make jewelry. Something you should know about me is that I am an experienced teacher that has been in it for the right reasons- love of teaching and learning and my rapport with children. My skills include the ability to break down problems into smaller, understandable pieces, the ability to make learning more personal by including the student's interests into the task, and the knowledge of what teachers want and are expecting in their assignments.
