About Aashna

Accessing understanding in a way that is specific to the particular student is my primary goal. As a music and environmental studies double major on the pre-med track at Tufts University, I have mastered and studied numerous disciplines, including almost all STEM subjects, as well as the humanities and arts. I adapt my teaching methods by observing your learning style and using visual aids, hands-on activities, and real-world examples to make complex concepts manageable. I believe in communicating academic needs and tailoring learning/teaching styles to the student, as I felt I did not learn best in the same exact way that others may when I was in grade school. I am dedicated to fostering an engaging environment where you feel empowered to think critically. Nothing is more rewarding to me than witnessing progress, whether it be a patient healing in treatment at my other job, or a student gaining confidence in their academic abilities as a tutor.
