About Tara

Hi! My name is Tara. I am a mom of 6 all grown, a licensed substitute teacher, and I have homeschooled, tutored, and taught at a private school in the past. I love hanging out with kids because we have fun! I treat children with respect, kindness, and autonomy. I believe they deserve the same recognition of their individual wants and needs as adults do, so it is my goal to build a mutually respectful and trusting relationship with them as the foundation of every interaction, while also holding boundaries that teach them to be safe and secure. I am neurospicy, so I have an affinity for neurospicy families. We get each other. I love art, crafts, science projects, being outside, swimming, reading, singing, puzzles, and random dance parties. I am very organized and clean. And because neurospicy kids often have neurospicy parents, once I have established trust with a family, I am happy to assist with some executive functioning and management of household needs as it relates to their kids.
