About Tanner

Hi there! I'm Tanner and I have been in childcare since I was in high school. I began working at my local church teaching elementary school kids Sunday mornings. From there, I started watching those kids, as well as Pre-K and some special needs kiddos on Sunday nights. During my gap year between undergrad and graduate school, I was a nanny to a 4-year-old for almost a year. Additionally, I have experience tutoring 8th and 9th graders, and I feel equipped to handle all ages. What I love about working with kids is the opportunity to be a resource to hard-working parents with infinitely busy schedules. Beyond being a great fit with kids and honing my abilities to care for and communicate with kids for the last 9 years, I also love getting to take some of the weight off of parent's shoulders so they can turn their attention to other things. I just graduated with my M. F. A. in musical theater writing and specialize in working with kiddos on anything related to the arts!
