I'm a graduate student at NYU working towards my MFA in poetry. I'm the oldest of five children so have been caretaking in some capacity for as long as I can remember! My mom owned a preschool up until last year so through high school and college I would do weekly or one-off evenings with those families. I'm very happy to sit for kids with IDDs. My sister has Down Syndrome and I spent two summers working for a family whose son was in 8th-9th grade and had Downs. I've also worked with kids with Williams syndrome and complex genetic disabilities.
