About Tanner

Hi! I'm Tanner, a PhD student at UT Austin with a background in teaching and working with kids. For the past several years, I've had the opportunity to teach middle school ELAR. It's been one of my life's greatest joys to help them build confidence, and create a supportive environment where they feel comfortable learning and growing. I've always enjoyed working with children and building positive relationships with families. I'm patient, dependable, and enjoy helping kids with homework, exploring their interests, and making everyday activities fun and engaging. Outside of teaching, I love movies, reading, playing guitar, and spending time outdoors. I'm currently looking for part-time childcare and tutoring opportunities that fit alongside my graduate studies, and I'd love the chance to support your family.
