I am currently a registered nurse at hospital. I have specialized with stroke, cardiac, hospice, dementia, mental health patients of all sorts. I have also babysat for children under the age of 5. I am very flexible with others and patient with great communication. I anticipated starting my nurse practitioner program this spring however, I am currently early in pregnancy. I enjoy working at bedside however, I don't feel as if I get to fully understanding the person as a whole and building a comfortable relationship within 12 hours of the day. The enjoyment I get out of my day is knowing that I made a difference in even the smallest way for caring for a person.
