I'm a mother of four who I home schooled. They have all graduated. I did daycare for 10 years up until 1999. I became a nanny the beginning of 2012. While caring for children, I have had activities both indoors and out. We go on walks, to parks, ride bike, play T-ball, play in the water, or play in the sandbox as well. Indoors, there are stories, books, art, learning, baking, and learning age appropriate household chores. I have watched children from newborn to teenagers, as well as multiples, that have been other than my own. I don't mind either part-time or full-time. Now that my own have grown, I realize how much I have missed taking care of young children on a continuing basis. I have always loved the new and exciting things that children come up with and like to encourage their thoughts to see where they may go. I am CPR and 1st aid certified.

We took in our first Nanny due to a family emergency, and this was not an easy task for anyone as we had to fill quickly and had little time for warm-ups. (3 kids, one is a newborn under 6 weeks... so not easy) We chose her for many reasons and I think a strong part of her background is how well she raised her own grown kids and homeschooled them. Tammy has been working for us for one week and already our middle child (3) is potty training successfully, their bedtime routine I share with them is improved, and her level of communication and care for a parents wishes are excellent. I may write more later, but as our commitment may only last a couple months, I wanted to spread the word to give her you attention! Sincerely, Dan W.
