About Megan

Hi I'm Megan and I'm a senior in high school and the captain of the lacrosse team. Next year I am going to Augsburg College to major in Exercise Science. I have always loved working with kids and being around them. My past experiences are that I have done babysitting jobs for families in my neighborhood. I also took in high school the classes Psychology of Childhood and then Exploring Childhood. In Psychology of Childhood I had to teach play school which is for children ages 3-6 and we had to make the lessons that we were going to teach them. In Exploring Childhood I got to teach 4th graders at Forest Lake Elementary School where I got to work with them three days a week. The things that I did during my babysitting jobs were that I would feed them, put them to bed, take them to play dates, and taking them outside to do activities. I have babysat up to 4 kids at a time ranging from ages 9 months- 11 years old. I also attended the Red Cross babysitting class.
