About Laura

I'd describe my personality as patient, gentle, and kind. I have a lot of fun playing and organizing crafts. I enjoy outside exploration such as walks to the park, as well as imaginative play. I'm looking for a job that I am able to bring my 4-month-old along to. I have over 10 years of experience with both children and animals! I started working with kids when I was a teenager, regularly babysitting after school. I continued with childcare when my first born was a toddler while nannying a family of 2 children. I worked at a swim school for 7 years teaching swimming lessons to children, including infants. I highly value safety. I was a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician, a lifeguard as well as first aid and CPR certified. My skills include being vigilant of safety and being present and distraction free. I also value child psychology. I have prioritized my further education of parenting and childcare skills revolving around their emotional and psychological development.
