About Tamara

I've lived in Portland for almost 10 years. I am a California transplant. I have been a Pre-school Teacher since I moved here, but I was on Care. com for several years before I moved to Portland in 2016. I worked for families all over Marin County.. I've been doing childcare my entire adult life. I started doing childcare when I was young. I watched the babies at church At about 13 yrs old,& cared for children all over Marin County for yrs. I got my first preschool teaching job when I was about 22. I have been educating young children ever since then. I am also a single mom to a 27-year-old, stellar young woman. She got her undergrad at U of O, and a full scholarship to UC Berkeley, for her masters in journalism. Children are my passion. I can't imagine having any other job! I promise I will bring love, safety, wisdom, punctuality, and fun to every home!
