About Tamara

Our nanny, Tamara, is available for full time work starting ASAP. She’s been a wonderful addition to our family with 3 children, one being a newborn. Everyday she shows up with engaging ideas and a loving and caring attitude to my kids – 7, 4 and 9 months. She’s a natural with each age group. Firm but fun, she’s always interactive with the kids. Whether it’s helping with homework, furthering age appropriate milestones or playing tag in the park- she’s eager to keep the day moving forward with gusto. As an added bonus she has a psych degree, was always available to stay late or overnight for date nights, very thorough, consistent, loving and has experience with Autism, processing delays, and ADHD. She has a way of making each child feel truly special and loved. My oldest child is special needs and Tamara is able to manage his ADHD and delays with ease. Helping him navigate through his challenges. As an added bonus Tamara is knowledgeable in the world of Pokemon which is his current obsession! My middle child loves to learn and Tamara is constantly creating challenges to help her on her educational journey and achieve milestones. And she’s a natural with the baby, getting her on a nap schedule and easily doing all the baby necessities. She even assembled her high chair for me (and for that matter the kids twin beds!) Tamara moved out east with us this summer. We live on a pond and she took up kayaking and paddle boarding as to engage the big kids with their beloved activity. And had a daily bike ride in the schedule as well. She had never boated before, but learned quickly and enjoyed both. She would have dinner ready and kids showered before I could blink. She’s more than willing to travel with families should the need arise. And a very helpful hand. She has assisted me with Hudson’s distance learning as well. Tamara reads books to kids and teaches alphabet and numbers. Does laundry, cooks/prepares meals and is always on time. Should you need extra help with something, just ask. She is completely trust worthy and a great addition to any family. We miss and love her!!
