About Talia

I started my experience in geriatric care in 2019 as a medical receptionist for Cascadia of Boise which is a skilled nursing facility. I moved up to work in the activities department later on. In the activities department I was in charge of planning excursions and in house activities but was also in charge of managing our residents daily mental health. I did mental health evaluations from the time of intake to the time of discharge. Additionally I have experience caring for my grandmother who has advanced alzheimer's. I think the care of our elderly is wildly overlooked and I take pride in caring for them as people who have a right to quality care! I am in college so there will be some classes to work around but this term and the spring term are both very light schedules. Please let me know if you have any questions or would like any references!
