About Talia

I am a certified teacher with over six years of experience working with students, with dual certifications in Special Education and English. I specialize in individualized academic support, including executive functioning, study skills, reading comprehension, writing, and college essay development. One-on-one instruction has always been my favorite part of teaching. I love getting to know how a student learns best, identifying the areas where they need support, and helping them build both academic skills and confidence. My approach is highly individualized. I work with each student to set realistic goals and tailor instruction to their learning style, interests, strengths, and specific challenges. My goal is not simply to help students complete their work, but to help them become more confident, capable, and independent learners.
