About Kayla

Hi! I'm a certified elementary teacher with a master's degree, a Reading Specialist certification, and over 10 years of experience helping students build confidence and succeed. I taught both 3rd and 4th grade in the Downingtown Area School District, where I worked with a wide range of learners and collaborated closely with families and support teams. I also have extensive experience developing and implementing IEPs and 504 plans to help students reach their individual goals. I believe learning should feel encouraging, engaging, and personalized. As a Reading Specialist, I have experience helping students strengthen foundational reading skills, improve comprehension, and grow into confident readers. My goal is to help students not only improve academically but also gain the confidence to tackle new challenges on their own.
