About Taleah

Hello! My name is Taleah, and I am passionate about helping students reach their academic goals. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Maryland, College Park, followed by a Master's in Health Sciences at Drexel University. Currently, I am pursuing my MD degree at Howard University College of Medicine. With over 7 years of tutoring and mentoring experience, I've worked with students from elementary through college, supporting them in science, math, and general study skills. My background in health sciences has given me a strong foundation in critical thinking and problem-solving, which I love passing on to my students. My teaching style is patient, structured, and encouraging. I believe in meeting students where they are and breaking down challenging material into clear, easy-to-understand steps. Beyond academics, I strive to build students' confidence, study habits, and curiosity so they can succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
