About Taijah

As a nurturing caregiver with over six years of experience, I provide a safe space for children to explore their creativity and imagination. I am very supportive, loving, and fun. I keep parents updated on their child's day through written daily reports and verbal communication at pickup, always respecting their preferred method of communication. Working with kids as a teacher's assistant was a meaningful and hands-on experience. I helped in classrooms with children ranging from toddlers to early elementary age. My role included assisting with lesson prep, helping kids with arts and crafts, reading time, and maintaining a structured but fun environment. I also supported the lead teacher with classroom management and made sure the kids felt safe, heard, and engaged. It taught me a lot about patience, communication at different developmental levels, and how to balance nurturing with keeping a group on track. Each day was different, and that kept me on my toes in the best way.
