About Sylvia

Empowering students to reach their full potential through personalized support is at the heart of my teaching practice. With a graduate degree and a year of dedicated experience, I specialize in helping elementary and middle school students master Math, English, Science, History, and essential study skills. I assess your unique learning style by actively listening and observing how you interact with new material, allowing me to tailor my methods to your needs. When concepts become challenging, I keep you motivated by celebrating small successes and providing consistent positive reinforcement. Clear, open communication with both you and your parents remains a priority to ensure we stay aligned on your goals. Nothing is more rewarding to me than witnessing your confidence grow as you master new skills. I am comfortable with pets and look forward to supporting your academic journey, whether we meet online or at the center.
