About Sydney

As a student finishing my BA in Psychology, I bring both academic excellence and real-world experience to tutoring. In high school, I was an AP student in Literature, English Language and Composition, and various History classes. I was also an Honors student in Foreign Language (German), which taught me the value of discipline, critical thinking, and strong communication skills. Beyond academics, I've worked extensively with both special needs and neurotypical children, providing patient, individualized support that helps each child thrive. This includes professional roles as well as my personal experience as a mother to an autistic child, which has strengthened my ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles. My background allows me to not only explain material clearly, but also to create a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel confident and motivated to succeed.
