About Sydney

I've had a passion for childcare since I was a child myself. I used to help my mom with her work as a postpartum doula, which was admittedly watching her do the hard work while I got to spend time with the baby. However, as I grew older, I took on greater responsibilities, finding my own work as a babysitter in my early teen years. Two years ago, I was lucky enough to assist in the transition of one of my mother's clients from a postpartum doula (my mom) to a nanny (myself). The opportunity is what ultimately led me to search for another nanny position. I am open to babysitting jobs, but will always prefer nannying as it allows me to have a deeper bond and understanding with a family. I am currently in college at JMU, but am open to staying the weekend at home. However, I am primarily looking for work over the summer.
