I'm an honest, reliable, intelligent mom to 5 teens/adult children. I'm both a foster and adoptive parent and specifically enjoy caring for infants and toddlers when I have extra time in the afternoons and evenings. During the mornings I run a preschool from my Reston home. I like working with kids because they bring me joy with their sense of curiosity, honesty, and all the snuggles of the little ones! I started working with kids when I was a kid! I had two much younger siblings and then started babysitting at age 12 and working in a daycare when I was 18. I was also a professional nanny for 6 years with children from 8 weeks- 9 years old. In my spare time, I like to cook, hike, read, and travel I am experienced with all types of children, many special needs and all ages. I worked as a special needs respite provider for about a year, and also was a nanny for a medically fragile newborn. My skills include patience, sense of humor, multi tasking
