About Sydney

My name is Sydney, I am a 24-year-old passionate and knowledgeable worker. I have been caring for children for over 5 years and am CPR and First Aid certified. My background is working with children ages 4 months to 10 years, I am confident in my skills within these age groups. My long-term (5yrs) position as a floating teacher's assistant at Ithaca community childcare center exposed me to a wide range of teaching and learning styles, contributing to my adaptability. I always make sure that children feel empowered in themselves and their autonomy, acting as active support as they reach their goals. As your nanny, I intend to keep your children safe, engage them in age-appropriate activities, encourage their creativity, foster their confidence, and get them outdoors as much as possible! I plan on being in communication with the families I work with and am always open to ideas, feedback, and suggestions. I can't wait to make a meaningful connection with you and your family!
