About Sydney

Every subject I teach, including swimming, is something that I struggled with as a kid. Many teachers I had growing up could not understand what it was like to have difficulty learning something; they were experts. I know what it's like to have no confidence in your academic ability. I have had the experience of someone who had tutors. My unique perspective allows me to create an empathetic, safe, encouraging, and successful learning environment. Where your child is not made to feel bad for having a lesson tailored to meet their educational needs. The tutors I had taught me to the organizational skills, tips, and tricks to excel in any academic setting. But, most importantly, they taught me to love learning and have confidence in myself. For me, tutoring and teaching is a way to pay that forward. I had so many teachers give up on me; all it took was one tutor to believe in me. If I can be that one person for your children, that would mean everything to me.
