Hey there! My name is Syd, and I am a recent graduate from Hamline University and avid performing artist in the twin cities looking for work on the side! I hope to support families through reliable, high-quality care, which has always come easy as an education scholar at Hamline. My journey into childcare began with babysitting the neighbor kids, then to becoming an elementary play director, and now I am an aspiring music teacher. I would describe myself as patient, calm, and imaginative, which allows me to connect easily with children of all ages. I enjoy participating outdoor sports (though I am not very good), board games, and playing pretend! I am comfortable enforcing household rules and always respect your preferred communication style as everyones needs are different. I also consider myself quite the home chef, and can help with meal times and snacks! I have a reliable car and enjoy animals, and am happy to assist with school runs or pet-friendly environments.
