About Sydney

Hi, my name is Sydney. I am 25 years old. I am a Certified Nursing Assistant and have been in the nursing field for a little bit over 4 years. I am L1MA certified meaning I can pass meds. I have worked in memory care, assisted living, hospice care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, dementia care, and home health. I also have experience in Direct Support Professional care. I am good with Hoyer Lifts, Stand-Up lifts, sit to stand lifts, and more. CPR CERTIFIED! I'd describe my personality as Kind, Empathetic, Adaptable, Friendly, Hardworking, and Reliable. I like caring for seniors because I healthcare work is all I grew up around. My mother has been a Licensed Practical Nurse for 15 years and introduced me to nursing and healthcare. I am also in the process of going back to school to be a Registered Nurse myself. I started caring for seniors when I was 19 years old helping my grandmother who does home health care herself. I would assist with feeding, bathing, grooming, and other ADLs.
