About Sydney

My Name is Sydney, I am currently a student at CU Boulder, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Business. I grew up in Denver and went to Cherry Creek High-school. I love board games, music, drawing, and being outdoors. I grew up in a household with two full time working parents, and siblings who were 8 and 11 years younger than me. Naturally I became the "built in babysitter". Behind the curtain I learned what it actually takes to take care of children, raise them, help and allow them to learn during a time of extreme development. This transitioned into me babysitting my siblings, with their friends, carpools, soccer games, and the pool. I absolutely love it, and have had quite a bit of practice from a young age. I know how to navigate positive and negative emotions when it comes to kids, and how to listen to them. Children need to be nurtured in a healthy way, and I know how important care is especially when it's coming from someone who isn't in their direct household.
