About Syarah

I'm a warm, organized, and careful Newborn Care Specialist providing overnight care for newborns and postpartum support for parents. My focus is to make sure birth parent is feeling well nourished as they heal from giving birth, and baby is being well nourished, latching properly, gaining weight, and sleeping well. Aside from feeding, diapering, changing linens as needed overnight, I'm happy to help with anything that may help make your day time with baby run smoothly too. I have 10+ years of live-in care experience and 2 years experience in working directly with newborns and parents in their homes. I am certified in infant and child CPR and keep up to date with trainings and education courses on breastfeeding, sleep training, postpartum healing, and mental health care. My certification is renewed every 3 years. I'm motivated by the impact of helping hands-caring for parents and newborns alike-and by the fulfillment of guiding families through a vulnerable and transformative time.
