About Susan

I'd describe my personality as honest, intuitive and trustworthy. I enjoy working with kids because they are always learning. They love to try new things, and I love helping them discover their special gifts and talents. I'm looking for a job that enables me to support a family by caring for their child(ren) and assisting in their development, education and wellbeing. I started working with kids when I was in high school. During college, while pursuing my degree in Elementary education, I was a part time nanny. After teaching for 27 years I retired early and became a full time nanny for 3 children. When I started they were 2 months, 2 and 5. My own children are 25, 24 and 20. In my spare time, I like to read, travel with my husband and hang out with my family. One thing you should know about me is I loved my years as a teacher, but now my passion is caring for children as a nanny. My skills include extensive child development education, experience and teaching.
