About Susanna

I have a great love of children and over 40 years of experience in childcare and teaching, including 10 years as a nanny and 8 years as a Red Cross Water Safety Instructor. I cultivate the attitude of reverence which Rudolph Steiner, the founder of Waldorf education, has said is the most essential element in the care of children. As Aftercare Director for a full-immersion Spanish language pre-school, I worked with ages 2. 5-6, creating a unique curriculum founded on the Virtues and expressed in play-acting, songs, painting, clay, cooking, crafts, and creative movement. I am WECAN and NAEYC approved Early Childhood Certified and completed teacher training for the grades from Millennial Child and Christopherus Homeschool. I home-schooled my own son, successfully preparing him for graduation exams in California. I enjoy storytelling, puppetry, and song, and offer seasonal festivals from time to time. I would be delighted to share my love of learning with your children.
